My new Quicken worked fine for a couple of weeks, and then I got the message "Your Quicken program files not your data files may have been damaged. You need to reinstall Quicken". If you're unable to open Quicken to do so, you can skip this step and continue.

Backing up your file isn't required, but is used as a precautionary step. Please note, uninstalling Quicken will not impact your Quicken data files. Click QcleanUI. In the new folder, double-click QcleanUI. Select Clean all versions , and then click Clean. Note: QcleanUI may take several minutes to complete its task.
