Unrelenting distortion and illustration of these aforementioned gods is what gives a plausible identity to each of these songs. The tone of the album is eerie, but adding more leads and heavier riffs wouldn't be depleting any of the sentimental aspects of this album. Ultimately, anti-Christianity is inscribed between the lines. I ask myself, is this queue of albums making a point? A heavy doomsday atmosphere, and repetition is what makes this band what it is, and possibly invites controversy.
